Talk about a hot property — this $12.9M Intracoastal mansion has 7 fireplaces

If you miss the romantic ambiance of a fireplace here in steamy South Florida, then do we have a house for you. This 9,634-square-foot mansion on the Intracoastal Waterway in West Palm Beach has not just one fireplace — it has seven.

The brand-new home, on 0.4 acres at 2914 Washington Road, was completed in September 2018 by Aquantis Group, a West Palm Beach-based firm that develops, designs, and builds luxury waterfront estates.

The house, in the historic El Cid Court neighborhood, is priced at $12.9 million, making it the most expensive single-family home currently listed for sale in West Palm Beach. That’s according to Burt Minkoff, senior director of luxury sales at Douglas Elliman Real Estate in Palm Beach, who holds the listing with fellow agent Ashley McIntosh.

“This is not your typical spec house at all,” said Minkoff. “It’s a very high-end, custom-built home, and it’s sort of a game-changer for not just West Palm Beach, but this would hold up against any Palm Beach home also.

“It’s very expensively executed and has all the sex appeal, from a lifestyle standpoint, of a Miami Beach house.”

The two-story main house has five bedrooms, seven full baths, and one-half bath. There’s also a detached one-bedroom, one-bath guest house, and a full cabana bath. Features include a two-story living room, library, wine vault, elevator, custom granite motor court, and a two-car garage — as well as those seven fireplaces.

Outside, there’s a cabana, summer kitchen, infinity-edge pool, and spa. There’s also a 100-foot-long deep-water dock, a new sea wall, and a private beach.

“There’s a lot to the house that lends itself to entertaining, but also for comfortable family living,” Minkoff said.
